Tyne Bridge Harriers – 50 Mile Relay Quayside Challenge

Tyne Bridge Harriers are proud to announce that on Saturday 21st April at 10am they will be running a Fundraising event for two charities based at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle, The Children’s Heart Unit Fund (CHUF) & The Freeman Heart & Lung Transplant Association (FHLTA). The race will start and finish at Baltic Square, Gateshead Quays NE8 3BA and will be started by the Mayor & Mayoress of Gateshead, Councillor Joe & Mrs Jen Mitchinson.

Tyne Bridge Harriers would like to support the fantastic work done by both charities, more information on FHLTA can be found on their website – www.fhlta.org.uk

Course Description

The course will follow the Great Way Route heading west along South Shore Road crossing over the historic Swing Bridge and returning east along Newcastle Quayside crossing the fantastic Gateshead Millenium Bridge back to Baltic Square.
