We’re excited to share that Koala Cuddle Day 2026 is coming soon to the cardiac unit!

Taking place on Wednesday 13th May 2026, this special day is all about raising awareness of the benefits of skin-to-skin care and supporting the parent and baby bond during a hospital stay.

Koala Cuddle Day is a much-loved event that brings together families, staff and children to celebrate the importance of closeness, comfort and connection,  even in the most challenging circumstances.

There will be opportunities for families to learn more about skin-to-skin care, spend special time with their little ones, and take part in some fun, koala-themed activities throughout the day.

We’re already looking forward to another meaningful and memorable event, and we can’t wait to share it with you all.
