At Chuf, we have a small, highly motivated team dedicated to supporting babies and families affected by heart conditions. From fundraising to administration, every member plays a crucial role in our mission.

I joined the Chuf team in July 2016, having worked in fundraising for over 10 years.
My role involves leading the Chuf team to achieve our annual fundraising target and managing the operational priorities for our wonderful charity.
My most memorable event to date has to be the first Chuf Christmas party I attended. It was a pleasure and a privilege to see the children who had undergone surgery in the previous year celebrate together and meet Santa Claus.

I joined the Chuf team in June 2017 after being involved with the charity for many years personally.
My role at Chuf is to help support local fundraisers and volunteers whilst raising awareness of Chuf in the community. I work with people who are fundraising by holding their own events in their local community to guide and support them to raise money for our amazing charity. I also lead on Chuf's online fundraising and social media channels.
I love supporting Chuf fundraisers and in my personal time enjoy holding fundraising events myself. Over the last few years I have personally organised 5 charity events, raising £18,000 for CHUF, and other charities close to my heart.

I joined Chuf in 2014 as a Fundraising Administrator following more than 15 years in the criminal justice sector. As Operations Manager, I support the Director of Fundraising and Operations, the Board of Trustees, and the team by managing daily operations, internal policies, finance/budgeting, grant applications, and strategic planning, as well as overseeing staff and ensuring compliance.
I also participate in fundraising events organised by the Chuf team, with the Great North Run and the Chuf Trek as my top picks.

I had a career in education, marketing, events and liaison for a number of years before moving across to the charitable sector in 2017.
I was fortunate enough to begin working at Chuf in 2019- just in time for the Toddle at Close House. It was such an amazingly memorable introduction to the charity and for me, summed up exactly why we do what we do. To see families all out together, celebrating little heart heroes achieving something they may not have previously thought possible; all supported by an amazing team and dedicated volunteers. It was definitely something special!
My role includes nurturing existing and developing new relationships with corporate businesses. I can help companies plan how to best meet their CSR goals, demonstrate their values through tangible impact, whilst supporting Heart Heroes at the same time.

Over the years, I have had a varied career in Project management and Business Administration. I became an admin volunteer at a local charity many years ago sparking my passion for the charitable sector and getting out into the community and helping people.
I have a thorough knowledge of the fundraising landscape, gained through my work as a project manager and bid writer in my career. I also have experience developing and stewarding great relationships with diverse audiences, including donors, members, subscribers, board members and industry stakeholders.
When the opportunity at Chuf came up I jumped at the chance of joining the team. My role involves being the first point of contact for members of the public as well as supporting the wider team and attending fundraising and celebration events for Chuf
Although new to the role I have already had the chance to experience the Chuf annual Toddle and it was an amazing day meeting all the heart heroes and their families. I cannot wait to see what comes next on this adventure!
I am also a regular desk plant killer! We have plastic ones in the office, so watch this space.

I joined the Chuf team as Events Fundraiser in September 2024 after working at JT Dove, who have a long-term partnership with the charity.
My role as Events Fundraiser involves organising celebration events and fundraising events for Chuf. These events include the annual Chuf toddle, the Chuf Christmas party, Great North Run, various treks and many more!
