Wave of Love
Wave of Love is an annual remembrance event where families are invited to tie a message to a flower and place it on our heart sculpture in memory of their loved ones. This very special event is an opportunity for heart families to come together and remember their loved ones in a moment of reflection, connection and remembrance.
This year our Wave of Love event took place on Saturday 30th of August at Littlehaven Beach, South Shields, NE33 2LF.
We met on Littlehaven Beach to place flowers on the heart sculpture, before watching it go out to sea, whilst being beautifully serenaded by the Blue Light Choir.
South Shields Sailing Club kindly hosted us afterwards with tea, coffee and biscuits. ❤️
We don’t have an exact date for 2026 yet, however we are aiming for one of the last weekends in August.
