Saturday 7th October 2017 saw Barclays host their 4th annual ball in aid of CHUF raising a staggering £33K! The Gatsby themed event welcomed over 300 guests to the Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park for an evening of glamour in true 1920’s style.

Organised by Sharon Hall, National Leadership Coach at Barclays, the Ball has been organised for the last four years with previous themes including Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz and Masquerade.

Attendees ranged from Barclays staff and customers to CHUF supporters and corporate guests.

Welcome drinks, entertainment and a three-course dinner were followed by a raffle, lucky dip and both live and silent auctions with many fantastic prizes to be won.

Commenting on another successful ball, Sharon Hall was pleased to reaffirm her support for CHUF:

‘It was a pleasure to organise the Barclays ball in aid of CHUF for the 4th time this year. CHUF is a charity that myself and Barclays actively support throughout the year not only through this event but also through provision of volunteers and matched funding for many other fundraising events. It is great to be able to get so many supporters together annually to celebrate this amazing cause.’
