Earlier this year we were asked to feature in a BBC documentary which highlights amazing charities doing amazing things (like us!) as well as exposing charity scammers.

Airing at 9:15am on Thursday 30 May 2019, our Trustee and Heart Hero Dad Ivan, will be showing the nation the fantastic facilities which we fund at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle, including the life-saving equipment and projects that have been made possible thanks to your incredible support.

The famous Clown Doctors, Dr Johan Cherrywolf and Dr Jemima Jamjuggle, will also be talking about their important role and how the Clown Doctors project, funded by CHUF, has such a positive impact on our Heart Heroes and their families.

Our wonderful Joanne Moore who is Ward 23’s treasured play specialist also stars in the documentary explaining the goings on at the Children’s Heart Unit and what really makes CHUF such a special charity.

Presented by Kevin Duala, the documentary Britain’s Secret Charity Cheats, is back for its second series from 27 May 2019, with all episodes available after broadcast.
