We are thrilled to announce that Ivan Hollingsworth has taken on the role of Chair of the Board of Trustees here at CHUF.
Ivan is a much-loved member of the CHUF family and became involved with CHUF the day his son Seb was born in January 2009. As a Trustee Ivan offered his support in many ways, supporting fundraising, PR and comms and using his experience as a heart parent; experience he will take forward into his new position.  Ivan has fundraised for CHUF raising over half a million pounds through his Seb4CHUF fundraising.  Over the year’s money raised through Seb4CHUF activities has paid for the redevelopment of the play room at the Children’s Heart Unit and supported CHUF to innovate and develop services which have made a lasting difference to Heart Heroes and their families.
Sarah Fitzpatrick, is stepping down as chair of the Board of Trustees, after three years of dedicated service to the Children’s Heart Unit Fund. Sarah joined the Board of Trustees in January 2016 to use her skills and experience to help CHUF as well as supporting the charity’s overall strategy.  We are thrilled that Sarah will remain as part of the board of Trustees and continue to offer her incredible support.
We want to say a huge thank you to Sarah for her hard work and dedication whilst also welcoming current Trustee, Ivan Hollingsworth, as he steps up to fill the role as Chair of the Board.
