CHUF’s National Three Peaks Challengers raise in excess of £10,000!

Last month 11 brave CHUF supporters took on the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales to raise funds for Heart Heroes.

The team, made up of Heart parents, JT Dove staff, Mole and Ford Aerospace engineering representatives, banded together to scale Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in just 24 hours.

This was the first official CHUF National Three Peaks Challenge of it’s kind; the task was gruelling and saw the team trekking through the night with very little sleep as they travelled between each mountain. Each member pledged to raise in the region of £800 in an attempt to reach an overall £10,000 to support children and adults living with serious heart conditions.

We’re thrilled to report that the #TeamCHUF 3 Peakers smashed their goal, raising a combined total of £11, 751!

We can’t thank these superheroes and everyone that supported them with donations and words of encouragement enough. Not only did the team achieve a major bucket list activity, but their hard work will help CHUF to bring smiles to Heart Heroes as they face their own challenges ❤

We would also like to thank Orange John for taking such good care of our team, leading them up the peaks and back safely. We look forward to working with you again soon!

Anyone interested in taking on a similar major challenge in 2023 can contact CHUF Community Events Fundraiser Kayleigh on events@chuf.org.uk
