A long time coming…

Following the success of the Chuf’n’Builders project back in 2014 , our friends at J T Dove decided to continue their support of Chuf, engaging their growing team in a range of fundraising activities and challenges each year. That partnership has now spanned a full decade and has has been described as “a blueprint for others to follow”. On 19th September 2024 the charity partnership was finally recognised at the prestigious  North East Charity Awards!

This award comes as the team prepare to celebrate breaking the £250,000 mark of funds raised for the Children’s Heart Unit Fund. The Dove team have a full calendar of fundraising activity built into their business plan. From branch tuck shops and baking competitions, to their football tournament, Race Days and holding an annual Golf Day. They proudly get involved in Chuf’s campaigns and have sponsored the charity’s major events. They provide practical support, lending their vans and team members’ help leading up to events like the Chuf toddle and Christmas Party

Chuf supports Dove with bespoke Hikes and support with their fundraising activity, and has nominated the business for their dedication and achievements in the past, leading the company to become 2 time finalists at the charity awards prior to this years’ win. The company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility is outstanding in every aspect!
