A massive thank you to the team at KOJI for donating £8,000 to the Children’s Heart Unit Fund (CHUF).

Cryptocurrency is one of the biggest new trends in finance, and CHUF is one of a few charities leading the way with the latest fundraising method.

Director of Fundraising and Operations, Charlotte Campbell said “We are beyond grateful for the money that has been donated by Koji. Their generous donation will be used to buy equipment for our Adult Congenital Clinics as part of our commitment to providing lifelong support to Heart Heroes. The donation will be used to buy three 24hr ECG holter monitors and two 24hr blood pressure monitoring systems.

“Cryptocurrency donations can make such a big difference to our Heart Heroes and their families by fundraising for vital equipment.”

CHUF’s vision is to support services that are still being pioneered that will have a positive impact on heart patients and their families to inspire hope and enable Heart Heroes to reach their full potential.

In the last decade, cryptocurrency has seen significant increases with organisations using it. Over the last year, CHUF has been working alongside The Giving Block so that they can now accept cryptocurrency donations.

Using Blockchain technology allows digital information to be distributed in a more transparent way, which means fraud won’t be as much of an issue and it’s much easier to see where the money is coming from as well as any changes that might be made.
