A huge thank you to the team at Virgin Money – Gosforth Office who have developed a winning formula for fundraising!

Each year for past 13 years, they have organised a Christmas Auction raising vital funds for many charities. In the weeks and months leading up to the event they engage with their management team, staff and suppliers to gather exciting and unusual auction lots, anything from cosmetic and food hampers, to holidays, short breaks and sporting challenges. There is a live link to other branches of the organisation across the UK.

The CHUF team are invited to update the Virgin Money staff regarding our charitable activity with funds raised from the previous year’s auction and also join in the auction! This is a fun filled entertaining 2 hours for all attendees as Steve Larman, the Virgin Money auctioneer, infuses his humour into the proceedings. As an added bonus the management team kindly agree that the organisation will match any funds raised at auction.

They have supported many charities since their launch and in the last 13 years and have raised an incredible £143,200 for CHUF.
