A huge thank you to each and everyone of you for taking part in our first #WearRedForCHUF day on the 28th February, we’re absolutely blown away with all of your support!

£20 will help CHUF to provide a washbag on the first night
a family spend on the ward with their child. The CHUF
washbags contain everything families need to wash, brush
their teeth and freshen up as often they are rushed to the
Children’s Heart Unit with nothing more than the clothes
they arrive in.

£250 will help CHUF continue funding the Clown Doctor
programme. A local arts company who visit the ward twice
a week to provide bedside entertainment, distraction and
a welcome change to the routine of the ward. The children
on the unit absolutely love the clown doctors and often
they are instrumental in helping a child eat, move and
continue to recover.
