Support our events

As a small team we are always looking for new volunteers to assist us with our events. This may be in our office in the run up to the event or on the day itself. We have a range of tasks to suit all interests so please get in touch if you would like to get involved.

Did you know that many employers allow their staff to complete volunteering days in work time? Why not ask if your company has a volunteering scheme in place?

Before our events...

In the weeks leading up to our events we require help with various tasks including packing goody bags, wrapping prizes and sorting through donations such as bears for our teddy bear tombolas. We occasionally also require helpers to carry out activities such as painting picnic tables for the Chuf Toddle.

On the day...

Chuf has a varied events calendar requiring a wide range of volunteer support. Our annual Chuf Toddle and Family Fun Day at Close House requires as many people as possible to dress up in character and assist on our stalls with previous events having close to 100 volunteers in attendance. We also have balls, golf days and many other events which we simply couldn't run without the outstanding support of our volunteers. From selling raffle tickets to spotting for our auctions, we can't thank our volunteers enough!
